AEM's quality management system has fulfilled the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995 (certificate from Germanischer Lloyd Certification GmbH).
Quality assurance at AEM Dessau GmbH is an important part of the company strategy. The ultimate corporate ambition is to achieve the best possible quality for our products.
Therefore, the internalisation of quality awareness of every single employee was made top priority. Only by integrating quality policy in the daily work an increased efficiency can be achieved, as well as a quality improvement and lower costs.
Preventing defects is of a higher importance than defect clearance. When determining defects or deviations, i.e. quality risks, each employee is in bound to inform the line manager immediately if they are unable to solve the problem themselves, regarding to their responsibility and authorisation.
Each company member contributes with his work to fulfil the common quality objective, which is essentially:
- Customer satisfaction
- Constant improvement of product quality
- Adherence to delivery dates.
The management bears the overall responsibility for the quality management system. It is thus guaranteed that this quality policy will be understood, realised and considered within the organisational levels of the company. |
